For Local Community Leadership Development
IAE's Government Program for Local Community Leadership Development has been orchestrated by its G.E.S.E. (Studies on Government, Business, Society and Economics) Center.
Its mission is to foster interactions and cooperation among public agencies, business companies and civil society organizations through research and teaching initiatives. Following examples in more developed nations, IAE's GESE Center intends to contribute to ensure that cross-sector collaborations lead to social equity development, enhanced public policies and government practices, as well as business strengthening in order to ensure economic growth and greater social equity.
GESE Center goals include:
Conducting studies on competition, regulation, fiscal federalism, education, competitiveness and development policies.
Disseminating, through teaching and communications, the use of the best management practices for both public and private organizations.
Enabling insight and experience exchanges in joint action spheres so as to promote the adoption or revision of public policies associated with competitiveness and business effectiveness with a view to enhancing society's benefits.
Supporting reform roll-out to local communities.
Building a forum to bring together public, private and third sector paractitioners and officials. |

REGIONS, PROVINCES Y CITIES
This Program's mission is to train political, social and business leaders from local communities to employ the most innovating management techniques based on an ethical notion of leadership. It hinges on two theoretical pillars: government management efficiency and political leaders' social responsibility. |
Program Format
This program will be delivered at IAE's Campus over two intensive weeks, with a month interval in between. Each class day is divided into two half-day blocks -each amounting to a conceptual unit. Classes are held from 9 a.m. through 6 p.m. In order to provide mostly practical and successful government reformulation experiences, this program will rely on the case methodology. This method will be supplemented by theoretical lectures and dissertations by experts in specific fields of study. |
