IAE's Logo Milestones
IAE's inception.
IAE creates its first logo -three roses on a silver background and above an anchor on the lower section, inspired by the Buenos Aires City coat-of-arms. The three roses heralded the ripe fruits of wisdom, while the anchor was meant to symbolize serenity and confidence.
El IAE becomes an academic unit of Universidad Austral. To mark this significant step, its logo is replaced by a more colorful design, with new symbols to evoke rhythm, strength and light -waves symbolizing the River Plate's cadence, a caravel as a reminder of geographical discoveries, and the sun, embodying our region's core search for light and welfare for all.
The IAE acronym becomes a name in itself, and "Institute for Higher Business Education" is replaced by "Business and Management School".
IAE introduces its new logo, preserving its old values and, at the same time, reflecting its modern and international nature.

The coat-of-arms ceases to be the dominating component to become one of the traits that build up a leaner, more updated set of images.
The empty space surrounding inner font elements adds to the logo's overall leanness and introduces serenity and confidence connotations.
Enlarged fonts and smaller icons enhance IAE's new logo's rationality and sobriety effects. These elements also provide a greater balance beween the relevance of IAE and Universidad Austral.
The term Business School highlights IAE's international scope.
