We would like to share our vision with those who are contemplating attending IAE’s Top Management Program in order to contribute to their analysis. Unquestionably, decisions made by top senior managers have a great impact on their organizations and their coworkers. Clearly, managing companies and leveraging professionals’ talents is an art and calls for ongoing renewal. We believe decision-makers’ professional and personal development is essential to add value both to their organizations and society at large.

Based on the notion of education as a transforming experience, in which each participant takes on a leading role in his/her personal development, the PAD Program creates a forum to interact with other executives, mitigating the loneliness that usually haunts decision-makers. The Program addresses the needs of top managers seeking a learning opportunity in an academic and research-oriented environment that enables them to analyze themselves and their companies’ future, exchanging and enhancing ideas with their peers in other industries.

This path to personal growth encourages the search for new courses of action to lead change and to detect evolution opportunities. Leadership, ethics and values are key in this process that exceeds professional boundaries. For us, it is extremely challenging to guide the leaders of topmost companies in this quest, helping them to discover, work on and define their personal and professionals concerns, goals and challenges for the next ten years. In this light, the group of people sharing three months of intense training and shaping future choices becomes crucial. The personal relationships built during the Program are a great source of satisfaction for IAE faculty members, participants and alumni. We daresay the resulting network effectively contributes to building a better society.
